For four days only this Golden Week, Pacific Jemm swaps the mulled wine for sunshine and bubbles. Step aboard at Queenstown Bay, take a glass of sparkling as you settle in, and cruise the central arm of Lake Wakatipu into the serenity of Bob’s Cove — snow still on the peaks, spring in the air, and a grazing board of local cheeses and charcuterie as the scenery unfolds.

Central Arm to Bob’s Cove
A scenic loop through the central arm of Lake Wakatipu and into the sheltered serenity of Bob’s Cove, weather permitting.

Yes — Scenic Lake Cruises are family-friendly. Children up to 12 are $99 and receive a soft drink with the grazing board. Infants under 5 sail complimentary with a paying adult.
Spring on the lake can be warm in the sun and cool on the water. Bring a layer and sunglasses; the saloon is there whenever you would like to step inside.
Pacific Jemm operates safely in most conditions. In the rare event the skipper deems the lake unsuitable, your booking will be rescheduled or refunded in full.
Boarding is from Queenstown Bay. Please arrive 15 minutes before your sailing time; full directions are included in your booking confirmation.
